10 Reasons CM Punk Could Return At 9/29 Chicago Raw

WWE's flagship television program yet again returns to CM Punk's hometown on Monday. At this point though, the return comes at a point in time wherein smart mark intrigue about Punk's return is not misplaced. Recently, WWE's top-tier babyface ranks have been decimated by injury, as Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns are out with injuries until an undetermined point in the future. Furthermore, Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam - previous babyfaces brought back to the product to add numbers to the babyface side - have both been used, and other potential top babyface Batista is still months away from his expected post-Guardians of the Galaxy return. More than at any other point in recent memory, the clamoring for CM Punk's return is founded in logic and truth instead of falsely impassioned idealism. At present, WWE as a roster (and the feuds in which members of said roster are embroiled) and as a company present numerous opportunities to seamlessly write Punk back into storylines almost to appear as if he never left in the first place. Between the likes of John Cena, Paul Heyman, his wife AJ Lee, and the current cause celebre (that's causing a lawsuit) of the WWE 2K15 video game, there's at least ten reasons why Punk should put aside his differences with the company sign either an active or Legends (yes, you read that right) contract, and make his return on Monday night!
