The Kane character is one of the greatest and most enduring ever imagined by Vince McMahon and World Wrestling Entertainment. Beginning in 1997 and continuing to this day, it has captivated audiences and been responsible for some of the most memorable (for both good and bad reasons) moments in WWE history. Masked or unmasked, locked in a basement or joyriding with Katie Vick, he has managed to capture the attention of fans across several generations. Recently, he has reverted back to his monster ways, stalking after Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella as if he were straight out of a 1980s slasher flick. Longtime fans will notice that the Kane of today is not the Kane of yesterday, the Devil's Favorite Demon that debuted in 1997 at the In Your House: Bad Blood pay-per-view and sent Undertaker's life into a tailspin by dropping him with Tombstone and beginning and long, bitter, personal feud between brothers. He is not the same man that ignited crew workers just to prove a point.
