WWE Tough Enough is currently in its fifth season, airing each Tuesday night on the USA Network. The show is a mix of pre-taped footage from the previous week, and a live elimination ceremony similar to American Idol. Contestants live at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL, and go through weekly challenges outside of the center while learning the basics of wrestling in the center. Their trainers are Billy Gunn, Lita and Booker T. They are then judged by the live panel of judges, consisting of Daniel Bryan and Paige. Hulk Hogan was originally the third judge, but after the racism scandal, he was replaced by The Miz, although its unclear whether its a permanent replacement or not. The judges each pick one contestant to be eligible to be eliminated (each judge has a save per season), and the viewers vote on who they want to stay. WWE wants to position itself as an entertainment juggernaut by not only presenting its wrestling product, but also branching out into the reality television market with shows like this and Total Divas.
