10 Reasons To Believe CM Punk Will Never Return To WWE

The pessimist's guide to the future of the Best in the World.

When a man named Phillip Brooks walked out of the job that he hated back in January, it caused a storm throughout the whole community, both online and in person. Because Phillip Brooks is no ordinary man, and his job happened to not be an ordinary field of profession either. For the man who also went by the name CM Punk, the day he walked out of the WWE (and therefore the wrestling business altogether) was the day that internet got one more thing to talk about, and boy has it done that in spades. Speculation has run rife for half of 2014 over Punk's future, and what drove him to quit the company that made him a superstar. Pay, creative direction, injuries, coworkers, and so much more have all been tossed around by dirtsheets and those 'in the know'. Truthfully, the only people that really know are the 3 people that were in the room on January 27th; CM Punk, Vince McMahon, and Triple H. Now that Punk's profile on the WWE website has been moved to the alumni section with the expiration of his contract, many have finally taken that as enough reason to believe that relations between the two parties are nonexistent, and that CM Punk - WWE Superstar is no more. Brooks may have the rights to the name, but for the foreseeable future at least, the Voice of the Voiceless is free to seek pastures new at his leisure. He even said so this week that he would "never, ever" go back. With that in mind, here are just 10 of the (many) reasons that this is most likely it for CM Punk in World Wrestling Entertainment.
