10 Reasons UFC Should Re-Sign WWE Champion Brock Lesnar

It's a long shot, but...

Despite a relatively short MMA career (seven fights in the UFC, eight fights total), Brock Lesnar was one of the biggest draws in the sport's history, and remains one of the most talked about fighters of all time. With his pro wrestling background and larger-than-life persona, Lesnar divided fans like no other. However, one thing is certain: the sport misses him. The fans and haters alike miss him. The UFC miss him. And their PPV buyrates most certainly miss him. Since retiring from the sport after a loss to Alistair Overeem in December 2011, Lesnar has gone on to a lucrative second run in the WWE, essentially part-time, and recently became the face of the company yet again, beating John Cena in a showing beatdown to win the WWE championship. That said, his contract will be up in 2015, and there is always talk of Lesnar returning. Lets be upfront about this: at age 37, and having overcome diverticulitis twice, Lesnar coming back is a slim chance, despite Paul Heyman saying he's in the best shape he has ever been. Still, it would do wonders for the promotion, who have had an extremely rough 2014 thus far, with a lack of star power and injuries putting a firm damper on the year. So lets take a look at ten reasons why the UFC should bring the monster back.
