This marked not only his first reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but his fifteenth championship reign in his WWE career. Only Ric Flair himself has ever won more World/WWE championships, and he had to work in multiple companies in order to achieve that status. While there are plenty of fans out there who are celebrating Cena as WWE champion, there are others who not only cry foul, but vow to never watch WWE programming again due to Cena€™s victory. The Cena haters may have a hard time understanding this, but the truth is that putting the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on John Cena was the right decision, and not just because he sells the most shirts and hats. While it€™s true that sudden injuries and last minute booking decisions were part of the reason for his win at Money in the Bank, there€™s little doubt that WWE hadn€™t already planned on pushing Cena to have another reign as champion.
