When Brock Lesnar returned to World Wrestling Entertainment after almost a decade in exile, many were concerned about how he was being booked in WWE. His first match back was a loss to John Cena which seemingly turned Brock Lesnar from a mythical monster into just another wrestler. However, since then, WWE has done a remarkable job building Brock into the unstoppable machine that we all view him as. The former UFC heavyweight champion of the world is now the WWE world champion and is so dominant that no one can name a contender who is even on his same level. Of course, that just means he's an extremely effective heel. When you have a heel champion who seems unbeatable, that's when a babyface challenger can rise to the occasion and become a superstar by knocking off the big, evil monster...if it's done properly. Unfortunately, Brock's contract is expiring. Reports indicate that his current contract ends just after WrestleMania and Brock would be a free agent after that. The WWE absolutely must renew Lesnar's contract. His value to the company is larger than anyone else, even if he doesn't have the merchandise numbers that John Cena does.
