10 Refreshing Feuds WWE Needs To Book

Feuds that could inject new life into Raw and SmackDown (and its superstars)!

Looking at the WWE currently, the product may give you a bit of déjà vu. Title contenders have been the same recycled names as if someone keeps hitting the rematch button on 2k. Shane McMahon is the top heel of the company, feuding with Roman Reigns, Miz, The Undertaker and Kevin Owens seemingly all at once over the past month or two. The only refreshing bits are a promising handful of new feuds that we have to hope 50/50 booking don’t murder. (Looking at you, Ricochet and Styles)

After all it can’t be a mistake that amidst the declining viewership the WWE have brought in Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff to take the reins of the (only arguably at this point) separate brands. Why bring them in to just rehash Shane and The Undertaker or another Corbin and Rollins run?

Viewers need something new. We are ignoring the tag team division for now (because frankly so is the WWE) and also throwing out the wild card rule because it just makes everyone sad. Those parameters in mind let's take a look at 5 feuds for each brand that could help bring us some amazing television under our new executive directors.

10. Raw: The Club Vs. Bray Wyatt

Please read closely WWE. This is something that could be incredible but needs to be handled flawlessly to be done right. The Club and Bray should be built as absolute forces, ripping apart and making anyone look foolish for approaching them. Throw small time feuds along the way at Bray, making him look stronger (and creepier and more terrifying) with every win. At the same time The Club will be ripping at the other seam of Raw, claiming victims like Ricochet and maybe even adding members like Finn Balor to add to the allure.

The point is to build both of them up to look like they are burning Raw to the ground and everybody else is just watching it happen. Have every member of The Club holding gold even if only for a moment. And Bray doesn’t need a title as long as he terrorizes the competition on a weekly basis.

Everyone will naturally start to look at the two powerhouses tearing up Raw and say “I would like to see that next pay per view.” Then come the winks, hints, and subtle teases of a feud forming. And you make everyone wait even more. Finally you get Bray to slowly start picking apart The Club piece by piece, until he has AJ Styles one on one for a huge payoff maybe even at WrestleMania 36. Just please, no over the top gimmick matches like the House of Horrors. Fans can’t take that again. And neither can…
