10 Ring Of Honor Wrestlers WWE Fans Need To Discover

Not only fans but WWE scouts too.

As TNA cancels yet another tour, it seems that the fat lady has finished her warm ups when it comes to that company. For the longest time TNA has sat as the number two wrestling promotion in the United States, pretty much by default. But as the vultures begin to fly low in Dixieland a whole host of companies are vying for that spot. Ring of Honor is the best placed to accomplish this, and has been for years. It has often been viewed as the modern-day ECW, something which does TNA way too much justice if the assumption is that they are WCW. Either way, Ring of Honor has long been number three and most likely finds itself now at number two. The current RoH roster is stacked, to say the least, and the most cursory glance at a Ring of Honor alumni page essentially offers a who's who of excellent professional wrestlers. Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Cesaro, Chris Hero, Paul London, Seth Rollins...the list goes on and on and on. It is a safe bet that those performing well in RoH today have a pretty good chance of being snapped up by WWE tomorrow (or, if not tomorrow, at some point in the future). Some names on the roster are recognisable to WWE fans, men like Matt Sydal (the former Evan Bourne) and even the oft-touted AJ Styles, but there are others just waiting to be discovered. Here are ten of the finest that the company has to offer, starting with a real man's man. And no, I'm not talking about William Regal...

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
