Sting has enjoyed one of the most storied wrestling careers imaginable, a three decade journey in which he embodied WCW and held numerous world championships. There were so many superb matches and segments along the way, particularly Sting's early run against Ric Flair which set the standard for in-ring work of its era. Firstly as the colourful Sting and later as the darker character, WCW's southern fanbase fell in love with this worker and made him an icon. He went on to stay true to the southern values by joining TNA. However he is now set to betray 30 years of not working with 'the northern' WWE by joining the company in the near future.
