10 Stunning Wrestling Autobiography Admissions

From being ravished with self-doubt to suicide, wrestling books have it all!

The world of professional wrestling books is a strange one indeed. Used by many to vent frustrations at peers in the industry they felt did them wrong, and often little more than an expert lesson in self aggrandisement, it's still quite rare to find any wrestling books which are written in a happy-go-lucky, positive nature. Thankfully, given the increased popularity of the medium ever since steps were taken away from kayfabe, there have been a lot of interesting stories for fans to hear, picking up and reading all the juicy gossip contained in these books. In truth, most wrestling fans probably enjoy reading these stories so much because of the stick-on guarantee of there being at least something negative they can sink their teeth into. 'What did Wrestler A really think about Wrestler B' seems to be a popular reason to check these books out, but occasionally there's far more substance, shocking revelations which come out of nowhere and gain a lot of press once people start reading. This list does contain a few examples of wrestlers not getting on, but there's also a lot of self-reflection to be found, which makes the soul-baring nature of statements you can find in a wrestling autobiography oddly comforting.
