10 More Superstars Who Had Better Careers Outside WWE

Talented wrestlers WWE totally missed the boat with.

Not everyone who gets hired by Vince McMahon becomes a big star. So many Superstars have been signed to the WWE over the decades, but only a handful of them have managed to get to the top. In the past, WWE signed wrestlers who made their name in other promotions in the hopes that those same stars would succeed under the WWE banner as well. Unfortunately, it doesn€™t always work out that way. In fact, it rarely does. In the past number of years, we€™ve seen a number of stars who worked in other companies, gaining invaluable experience, get signed by the WWE and have gone on to become big stars. These stars include CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, among others. But few can really make it as far as these have; WWE likes to build their own stars more than they like to use stars from other promotions or other countries. Continuing off of a previous article of mine, this article will look at another 10 former WWE Superstars who had better careers before or after a stint in the WWE. The following Superstars were either victims of poor booking, bad timing, or simply bad luck; either way, they shall had better careers outside of the hallowed halls of the WWE.
