10 Superstars Who Could Be WWE's Next Top Heels
9. Emma
Whether or not Emma's failed repackaging as Emmalina was supposed to be a heel character will probably forever remain a mystery, as will the reasons behind the company's decision to restyle the injured Australian in the first place. Emma seemed right at home as a cold, callous badass alongside Dana Brooke, and her work on NXT had set her up for big things as a future star on RAW's Women's division. That can still happen, though, particularly if she handles the sucker punch that was Emmalina in the right (read: wrong) way.
There's something inherently unlikable about Emma's holier-than-thou demeanour and irremovable sneer. The groundwork is there for a great heel run, she just needs some creative storytelling behind her.
Once WWE tired of shuffling different pairings of Charlotte, Nia Jax, Bayley and Sasha Banks, a spot will be open for a fresh new Big Bad in the Women's title picture, somebody who could believably beat (or be beaten by) any one of the aforementioned competitors.
