10 Superstars Who WWE Made Suffer In 2014
These guys just need to put 2014 behind them... and fast.
WWE has a history of playing favourites and picking who they want to be stars and who they dont. History is full of wrestlers with very little actual in-ring talent or charisma that got the full main event push just because someone in the back saw something in them. The opposite of this is also unfortunately true, and if WWE doesnt think youre going to be a star, theyll do everything they can to keep you from being one. No matter what a wrestler does to get over on their own, its incredibly hard to break through once youve been tarred with the brush of perpetual mid-carder. Vince McMahon has recently come under fire for his comments about talent not reaching for the brass ring and that no-one has really done it since John Cena, but that simply isnt true. There are a good number of wrestlers who have done everything WWE want, and it hasnt helped their career one iota. For an internationally traded company that insists it isnt professional wrestling, WWE still seems to be run like one of the old territories. Politics are the name of the game, and if you rub someone the wrong way once that could be it for your long term prospects. As the year draws to a close, here are ten superstars that WWE made suffer over the past twelve months.
