10 Terrible WWE Main Events One Tweak Away From Excellence

9. Brock Lesnar Vs Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 34)

Why it's terrible: An audience assuming certain Roman Reigns victory elected to mercilessly boo his beating out of the building as he kicked out of the same number of F5s that ended Brock Lesnar's prior seven pay-per-view matches and had his blood spilled all over the canvas.

A borderline catastrophe largely forgotten thanks to an immaculate Ronda Rousey match earlier on in the show, this was the nadir of the years-long push for 'The Big Dog'.

One Tweak: Go big and go the f*ck home.

Fans had already elected to take an almighty dump on this, so stick with the original plan and do it quickly. At WrestleMania 35, Seth Rollins' feet barely touched the ground before one of them was going through 'The Beast's head, and it was a strategy that would have served Reigns well. He'd been brutalised three years earlier - he should have been older, wiser and far more prepared for the onslaught of his challenger.

So what if he wins, and so what if the fans hate it? He didn't, and they did. And all of this absolutely reeked regardless.
