10 "Then Versus Now" WWE Dream Matches

9. The New Day Vs. The Hardy Boyz

The New Day aren't just the best act in WWE today - they're the best tag team the company has seen since the division's 2000-2001 glory days. They're legitimate stars and incredible workers, giving the belts an actual air of importance and selling merchandise like few other wrestlers in the company.

It's hard not to think about how The New Day would have fared during that era of tag team competition. Their TLC bout against The Lucha Dragons and The Usos was proof positive that they could go toe-to-toe with any of the favourites of the early 2000s, but the ultimate dream match for the trio would be against Matt and Jeff, The Hardy Boyz.

In terms of personality, The Hardy Boyz are the opposite of The New Day - their subdued attitudes played second fiddle to their ring work, which would allow The New Day to get under their skin leading up to the encounter.

Once the bout - preferably a TLC match - began, though, there'd be no holding back on either side.

None of the men on either team have any qualms about putting their bodies on the line, and this would be the time to make a statement. Expect sheer craziness and excitement.
