10 Things CM Punk Could Have Done At WrestleMania 31

Oh how WWE must wish he never left...

No matter how good the card that is shaping up for WrestleMania 31 looks, it would be a lot better if CM Punk's name on it. Fact. The Cult of Personality made his much publicised exit from WWE very early last year before being unceremoniously fired on the day of his wedding to Diva AJ Lee in June. As we all know now, what followed was one of, if not the most revealing 'shoot' interviews in the history of professional wrestling. However, you can't help but wonder what the WWE Universe would look like now had everything stayed as it was, with Punk up near the top of the card. Would his interview with long time friend Colt Cabana have even taken place? As doubtful as this might sound, you never know with Punk, he wasn't one that liked to hide his discontent. Obviously, speaking out against the company while still employed by them would have landed him in hot water with Vince McMahon and would have more than likely resulted in a demotion down the card. But such was his popularity at the time, you wonder if any shoot interview appearance would have had an adverse effect on his in-ring career. You'd imagine that WWE would have given him and fine behind the scenes like they did with Stone Cold Steve Austin's walkout in 2002, and incorporated into a few juicy story lines. Such was his importance to the on-screen product. After all, we are currently in the midst of the 'Reality Era', right? Here are 10 ways CM Punk could have been involved in WrestleMania 31 if he never left WWE.
