7. He's On Two Walks Of Fame

Withholding judgment of his tactics, Vince McMahon's accomplishments as a wrestling promoter dwarf those of any other promoter ever. Still, wrestling is often ignored by the mainstream media, so the man is still viewed as something of a punchline to the larger sports and entertainment worlds. It's nice to see that, on a couple of occasions, he has been honored for all he's done. In 2008, McMahon was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Since 1958, the Walk of Fame has offered everlasting recognition to contributors in the field of entertainment in the form of a star €“ with their name engraved on it €“ embedded into the Hollywood sidewalk. Perhaps even more significant, though, given his family's history, is the star McMahon received on Madison Square Garden's Walk of Fame. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7f5v-87wC8 As a third-generation promoter in the world's most famous arena, and given the fact that New York City (and MSG in particular) is considered WWE's unofficial home, it only makes sense.
