10 Things We Learned From CM Punk's UFC 182 Q&A

Punk took questions live for just under an hour on Friday in Las Vegas.

CM Punk, despite having been signed just a month ago and with no fight lined up until at least the latter half of 2015, was paraded out at UFC 182 for a Q&A session with fans in attendance in Las Vegas Friday. It was a no-holds barred sort of event with a pair of open mics and Punk speaking relatively candidly. Despite a fairly drunken audience, pretty much everyone was on their best behavior, although some of the questions ranged from where the CM in his stage name comes from (Faith No More's original lead singer) to his time writing for Marvel to whether he would play rock, paper, scissors with a very drunk fan at the end of the Q&A. All silliness aside, however, MMA fans did learn a little more about Punk's thought process, where he sees himself going as far as his UFC career, and how he's approaching things. The light mood made this a fun event to witness but more importantly it may have won him over with some MMA fans... maybe. He was at least able to display a level of humility while demonstrating that he's more than just a Johnny-come-lately to the sport, and while some fans no doubt were already aware, others might not be familiar with just how big Punk's MMA passion really is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEV8GTJqH3A So with that said here are ten things we learned from CM Punk's UFC 182 Q&A!
