When the name Kurt Angle is mentioned, there are a few images that immediately come to mind. His gold medal win in the 1996 Olympics, his five star match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21, and him famously driving a milk truck into Raw spraying The Alliance with a hose full of vitamin D. From his world class career as an amateur through his meteoric rise in WWE to his Hall Of Fame induction in TNA, Angle has made a meaningful impression in almost every arena in the world of wrestling. Certainly no one has forgotten the lasting image of him throwing Shane McMahon through the glass during their epic encounter at the 2001 King of The Ring. Angle has reached heights that no other wrestler could realistically hope to achieve. And TNA has gone to great lengths to secure his services and essentially promote him as the face of their company. Angle is the greatest professional wrestler of all time, period. Get over it HBK fans. But being the greatest of all time at anything comes with its down side. Whether it is Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, or any other world class athlete, there is a cost associated with being the best and Kurt Angle is no different.
