10 Things We Could See At WWE Great Balls Of Fire

Surely there has to be fire, right?

This week saw the pieces start to fall into place after Extreme Rules, with Monday Night Raw throwing up several new possibilities as we head towards (brace yourselves) - Great Balls of Fire.

With only one match confirmed, thanks to Samoa Joe's (unlikely?) victory in the fatal five-way, WWE have left themselves with a blank slate of sorts. Although we can expect a traditional couple of rematches - perhaps for the Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships - a few new feuds seem to be appearing on the horizon too.

Finn Bálor, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Bray Wyatt will all have to find new opponents after failing to win the number on contendership; perhaps we'll see them clash in some combination, or maybe even team up?

In the women's division, we surely can't expect Bayley to continue to linger in the title picture after being so horribly booked over the past week or so. Perhaps a new challenger will arise in the coming weeks...

We speculate on all this, and more, as we take an early glance ahead to Great Balls of Fire.

(Perhaps there'll even be actual fire.)

10. An Inferno Stipulation?

Yes, we've all (just about) come to terms with the fact that Raw's next pay per view is called Great Balls of Fire, but will we see a fire-based stipulation grace the show as well?

Inferno matches usually lie towards the cumbersome end of the scale, but unquestionably add a sense of spectacle to a pay per view.

The obvious candidate for such a match, were it to occur at the next show, is Bray Wyatt - and he's already competed in one against Kane. This week's Raw saw Bray lose to Roman Reigns and cost Seth Rollins in the main event, so perhaps one of the former allies would be his most logical opponent.

Just don't expect him to go over...
