They say that "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", but, y'know, if I stuck to that I'd be a pretty s**t journalist.

That's right, the Great Men of WhatCulture.com were present this past weekend in the desert to see the first official show under the All Elite Wrestling Banner. Double or Nothing, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, 12,000 fans in attendance, and some huge, huge surprises on the cards.

Myself, Phil and Wilbourn have already done out high-banter podcast where we regale you all with the stories of Hornswoggle teaching us to play craps, Cris Cyborg crashing our videos, Tama Tonga ruining our podcast and me accidentally ending up at a Good Charlotte gig, so go give that a listen if you've not already. This, however, is the slightly more important stuff.

The eyes of the entire world were on Double or Nothing because it carries serious, serious implications for the future of professional wrestling. There is a chance this could provide genuine competition to WWE, and thus shake the foundations of the entire industry in a way that hasn't happened since WCW. But there's also just as much of a chance it falls flat, doesn't find an audience, and ultimately achieves nothing of note.

So what did we learn? Well, I'll tell you.
