10 Things WWE Did Right At TLC 2014

Dolph Ziggler was the star of the show once again.

This year's Tables, Ladders & Chairs (and Stairs) PPV is in the history books and it was mostly a below average show that really didn't do anything to excite the WWE Universe. The opening match between Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper for the Intercontinental Title was an exciting Ladder Match that was the match of the night. Everything that followed it just couldn't deliver the way that match did. When the main event of the show ended with an exploding TV cable in the face of Dean Ambrose, which was the cause of his loss to Bray Wyatt, then it leaves you shaking your head wondering what WWE is doing sometimes. Due to there being so many gimmick matches on the card, it was one of the most physical PPVs of the year. You could just see guys were hurting after taking some huge bumps. Harper nearly broke his arm. Wyatt went crashing through so many tables. There was carnage all night long, but there were also points where the crowd was dead because there was too much of it. It was one of the worst PPVs of the year, if not the worst, so when talking about the things they did right it's mostly going to be a look at things from a booking perspective more than anything. This one is a bit of a challenge to write, but if you're still watching WWE then the best thing you can do is try to look at things with a positive perspective. Here's a look back at ten things that WWE did right at the December TLC PPV with a look ahead at what it meant for a lot of the winners and even some of the losers too.
