There are many WWE wrestlers for whom the booking needs to improve going into 2018, but it's Finn Bálor's perilous situation that's currently giving us all sleepless nights.
It was all going so well too, up until a couple of months ago. The Demon King had just shared a match of the year candidate with AJ Styles at Tables, Ladders & Chairs, apparently in preparation for a run at Brock Lesnar in January.
Less than 24 hours later, however, he was squashed by Kane on Raw. This, so we would later learn, was essentially a way of communicating to the audience that the Irishman wasn't yet main event-ready (even though he became the inaugural holder of the Universal Title just last year).
To most, the simplest way to restore Finn's credibility would be to move him over to SmackDown in a forthcoming Superstar Shake-Up. There, he can rebuild his reputation as one of wrestling's great in-ring technicians alongside the likes of AJ and Shinsuke Nakamura. It's a no-brainer.
