10 Things WWE Needs To Improve In 2018

8. UK Title Division

The UK Championship division seemed to go missing entirely during the middle part of 2017, only returning at the very end for Pete Dunne's Raw cameo in Manchester and an unexpected title match last week on NXT.

This state of affairs really has to improve next year if the company harbours any real ambitions of growing its UK outpost. The division needs more stars - in an ideal world, a competitive roster of at least 10 potential challengers - and, crucially, much more air-time.

Sadly, there are no guarantees that a change of this kind is on the agenda. Putting on those UK shows supposedly cost WWE an arm and a leg in January, and now that the looming threat of ITV's World of Sport is dead and buried, there's not much incentive to come back.

If a thriving division is too much to ask for, we'd settle for Bate and Dunne - the division's two standouts - being given a fair crack of the whip on NXT. Both of them - in particular the reigning champ - have the potential to go a long way with the right sort of exposure, and the ball needs to start rolling before their momentum fizzles out.
