10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Sting

They probably don't want you to know The Undertaker has faced Sting before.

Sting made his much anticipated WWE television debut at Survivor Series 2014. He wasn't advertised for the show and we don't know for sure when we're going to see him again, but it's expected that he'll be back soon. A lot of current WWE fans don't know much about Sting although the majority of them do. Since some wrestling fans have only ever watched WWE in their lives, they may have only heard of Sting from other people or maybe they checked out some of his stuff on WWE Network or Youtube. If you've ever watched wrestling outside of WWE then you would definitely know who he is because prior to Survivor Series 2014 he was the biggest name that had never been in a WWE ring before. There are a lot of things about Sting that WWE fans don't know, so it's up to WWE to educate them. Whether it's by doing a special on WWE Network or airing segments on Raw/Smackdown, they need to inform their audience about why this guy is a special, Hall of Fame performer. If you have been reading the "things WWE wants you to forget" feature since it became a weekly fixture on WhatCulture in January, you might know that usually the rule is that only WWE aspects of a wrestler's career is what we include. However, Sting is an exception since his WWE history is so brief. What I'll do instead is take some things from his WCW days as well as his post WCW career in TNA and make it relevant to things in WWE. Here's a closer look at ten things about Sting that WWE will probably not mention on their television, so as a result they are things they want you to forget.
