10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About 2014

Just how close did we come to the worst Mania main event in decades?

It's been a wild ride for WWE in 2014. There have been highs and lows this year that were memorable as well as forgettable. Even though we loved things like Daniel Bryan winning the WWE Title, we also came to dread anything related to Adam Rose or The Bunny. That's just how WWE is. There's always going to be that mix whether we like it or not. Whether it's on screen, behind the scenes or something that is rumored, there have been a lot of interesting stories in WWE this year. There have also been a number of things that WWE has probably regretted whether they want to admit it or not. It's sports entertainment. They are going to make mistakes. That's just part of the business. If you have been reading my work on WhatCulture.com all year then you know the "things WWE wants you to forget" feature is something that has been posted nearly every week this year. This feature has focused on a number of big name individuals in wrestling as well as some other special circumstances. This time the focus is on WWE in the year 2014. Normally when this is written, the focus is on things that happened behind the scenes or stories that we have heard over the years that you wouldn't expect WWE to mention on screen. In this instance, it will be a little bit of that as well as a mix of embarrassing stories that hurt the company, people leaving WWE and a few criticisms of WWE's bookings as well. These are all things that WWE doesn't want to talk about on Raw or Smackdown as a good thing that happened this year. Here's a closer look at ten things WWE wants you to forget about World Wrestling Entertainment in 2014.
