10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Undertaker's American Badass Run

6. Saving A Helpless Stephanie McMahon

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rcxd3bi7BA When you think of the Undertaker, there are a few words that immediately come to mind: mysterious, vengeful, equal-opportunity attacker (he did Tombstone Vickie Guerrero, after all), etc. Chivalrous is not one of those words. But in the video above, €˜Taker rescues Stephanie McMahon from being attacked by A-Train after SmackDown goes off the air, and carries her back to safety, while also saying €˜my wife€™s gonna be pissed€™. This represents a complete 180 for the Undertaker character. Not only does it show that the Undertaker has a conscience (which is not what the supernatural Deadman was about), but he actually seems empathetic to Stephanie€™s suffering. This is, after all, coming from the guy who once tried to marry her in a pseudo-Satanic ritual. While it€™s true that Stephanie, like her father, trusts the Undertaker due to his loyalty, it looked weird seeing Undertaker carrying an injured Stephanie to the back as if she were his injured daughter or something. That is why this is something WWE wants you to forget about the Undertaker€™s American Badass run. In hindsight, €˜Taker would make amends for this moment by giving Vickie Guerrero a Tombstone in 2008.
