10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About WrestleMania 30

Yes! Yes! No!

The past half-decade hasn't been the best of times in WWE, but every once in a while, the company really delivers - case in point, WrestleMania XXX. After spending months trying to shift Daniel Bryan out of the main event and weeks building up to a Batista-Randy Orton show-closer, fan reaction and CM Punk's departure caused a drastic change in plans. In the end, Bryan - who was originally scheduled to wrestle Sheamus - scored a victory over Triple H in the opener, then beat Orton and Batista in the main event to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The show, from a storytelling perspective, is one of the best in WWE history, and the matches were largely strong, as well. Daniel Bryan was forced to announce his retirement a few weeks back due to complications from concussions suffered over the course of his career, and photos and videos from WrestleMania XXX were prominently displayed. Triple H, a future co-owner and 21-year veteran of the company, named Bryan's victory as one of his favorite WrestleMania moments ever. That doesn't mean the show was perfect, though. Despite being bookended by classic matches, the event had its share of problems... one of which nearly overshadowed the rest of the evening. Here are ten things WWE wants you to forget about WrestleMania XXX.
