10 Times You Almost Quit Watching Wrestling

How the Death of WCW, Austin retiring and several deaths almost made us quit watching wrestling.

Wrestling fans are some of the most supportive people in any kind of entertainment. We can sit through just about any storyline and keep coming back for more because we love it so much. If you look at the current WWE product right now it's not great, but it's not like this is the first time that's happened either. Look back to last year's WWE shows. A lot of them were bad too. Most of us absolutely hated what WWE did at the Royal Rumble when Daniel Bryan wasn't even a part of the match. They fixed it by early March and we got the happy ending with Bryan becoming WWE Champion at WrestleMania, but the journey to get there was a long one that was unnecessary. The reason we get upset about wrestling storylines is because we care so much. It's like watching any scripted television show or a movie where you want to like what you're seeing. However, sometimes things will happen that you may not like. Do you completely abandon ship or do you ride it out to see if something better might happen? That's what wrestling fans deal with all the time. Those of us that have been watching for a long time probably don't know what it's like to quit watching. Most likely you have a friend or family member that quit. Do you remember why? Everybody's different, but there are definitely some major events that took place that could have been the cause of it. Here's a closer look at ten times where wrestling fans almost quit watching the wrestling business.
