John Cena is one of the most consistently pushed wrestlers in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment. Even when WWE tries to make him a sympathetic figure he doesn't come across that way at all. Should we really feel sorry for the guy that gets more title shots than anybody and has been in more PPV main events than anybody in WWE history? No we should not. If there is a time when Cena deserves sympathy it's when he takes a beating or loses a big match. This is a look at Cena's career in terms of big moments where he got "owned" meaning those times when he either lost a big match or was attacked in a major way. It's part of the wrestling business to have a guy get beat up to set up a big match and Cena's certainly done angles like that many times in his 12 year WWE career. What instances stand out the most? There are several that come to mind including one of them that happened in 2014. In each case, we'll take a look at the manner in which Cena fell victim to an attack whether it was during the match or just an angle. Most of them are during matches.
