10 Times Wrestling Fans Jumped The Barricade Into The Ring

It's a bad idea to jump into the ring. Here's video proof.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUdWBzUN-p8 It's something that blights live wrestling events more than you think, fans thinking they are something they're not and jumping the barricade. The latest incident happened at last night's SmackDown taping in London, England. A number of men jumped the barricade in the middle of the Cena/Bryan and Cesaro/Kidd tag team match, one of which performed a pretty sweet Rock Bottom in all fairness. Nevertheless, this incident undoubtedly dents the UK's chances of hosting a pay per view for the first time since Insurrextion in June 2003. Every fan that goes to a wrestling event knows that they are only a fan and they are not a part of the show. If you want to be a wrestler, go to wrestling school or find some other way to get involved in the business. Just like you shouldn't run onto a football field or a basketball court during a game, you shouldn't jump into a wrestling ring. Don't even jump over the barrier. It's not cool. People in the wresting business are taught to attack anybody that jumps into the ring that isn't supposed to be there. Whether it's a kick to the head, a punch or a takedown, all that matters is that the fan doesn't cause harm to anybody. You never know what a fan might be bringing into the ring or what they might be willing to do, so that's why the wrestlers and referees are taught to bring the person down a best they can. There are a lot of incidents in the history of wrestling, but the focus of this one will be on WWE and WCW television moments where this happened. There have been incidents where fans attacked wrestlers at live events (like Randy Orton in South Africa in 2013), but that's not what we're looking for. This is about the incidents that were televised. It seems as though WCW security wasn't very good because in doing the research for this, there were a lot more WCW instances that kept popping up. That says a lot about WCW as an organization too. If you go to a WWE even today, you'll have a tough time getting past security. They have a lot of people around the ringside area at television tapings as well as live events. It's smart for them to do that. They have to protect their assets, which are the performers. Wwe Fan Invasion Gif Here's a look at ten times when fans tried getting into the ring and they usually paid a price for it.
