10 Traditions WWE Needs To Embrace In Order To Turn Things Around

At various points in pro wrestling's history, there's been a need for innovation, a desire arising for a promoter to think outside of the box and develop fresh concepts that either expand the potential for business or to turn the business around. In the case of WWE, one of the main problems may be that the company is stale. Ideas and concepts that the promotion is pushing are perhaps getting a little long in the tooth or have been booked so poorly to now be worse for wear. Consider for instance that Wrestlemania is 31 years old, the Survivor Series is 28, and the Royal Rumble and SummerSlam are 27. Add into this the idea that between John Cena and Hulk Hogan, the same two men have been pushed as top stars in WWE for 20 of the 33 years that Vince McMahon has been the chief promoter of the WWF/WWE. Mix into this as well the idea that NXT as a standalone promotion is three years old and that the WWE Network is soon two be hitting the terrible twos.
