10 Ultimate Warrior Moments To Relive On WWE Network

The wrestling world is still in shock over the news that '80s/'90s wrestling icon, The Ultimate Warrior, Jim Hellwig, passed away Tuesday night. The news was especially shocking considering that the 3 days that preceded his death were the Warrior's highest profile days over the past 20 years, as he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, appeared at Wrestlemania 30, and then making an appearance and cutting an in-character promo on this week's Raw. Warrior, though he mentioned he was still understandably angry about the "Self-Destruction" dvd, seemed to have come to terms with the WWE and his place in wrestling history during his hall of fame speech, and although that mat be little consolation to some, it is nice to think he was able to get some closure to the many professional issues that plagued him over the last 20 years since he last parted ways with WWE. The Ultimate Warrior deserved his spot in the Hall of Fame; To borrow a word from the Rock, he was perhaps the most "electrifying" man in the history of sports entertainment. When his high-octane music started, and he began sprinting down to the ring, the crowd would simply come unglued and there would be an energy in the arena that may have never been rivaled by anyone else's entrance in WWE's long history. We chant "YES!" fir Daniel Bryan, we cheered for Austin and Hogan, but when the warrior entered, the crowd would get so amped up they would would want to run around the ring and shake the ropes the way Warrior did. Now, as the wrestling world mourns its loss, thanks to WWE Network, we are able to go back and relive some of the Ultimate Warrior's greatest moments.
