10 Ways Daniel Bryan Changed WWE Forever

A legacy to be proud of.

Daniel Bryan was one of the greatest pro wrestlers of this decade, with a legacy that he can already be very proud of. Whether he could have wrestled again, it really wouldn't have changed anything. His legacy was cemented that glorious night in New Orleans in 2014. You can't go any bigger than show closing a WrestleMania as the champion. But it isn't just that one night which left an imprint on the business, in analysing what he has done over a half decade period, it is clear to see that he has changed WWE forever. And even before all of that, there was of course his critically acclaimed run in the indies, which is a ten year legacy that he must also be very proud of. It may not have had the commercial exposure and lucrative rewards of his WWE run, but Bryan Danielson was very much regarded as the best in the world for many years before signing with Vince McMahon. Yet nobody expected the normal looking wrestler to do much in WWE. He was there to have solid matches, he was never meant to be a a main eventer. Which is what makes the following career legacy all the more remarkable.
