10 Ways To Book Brock Lesnar As WWE Champion

How should the Beast's reign as WWE's top dog pan out?

Brock Lesnar's destruction of John Cena at SummerSlam was without doubt, best for business. At the biggest event of the summer, the Beast conquered fifteen-time World Champion Cena with consummate ease and - in a breath of fresh air (for once) - it was the completely correct move on WWE's part. Lesnar, with Paul Heyman in tow, set his sights on returning to the top of WWE starting from his return to the business in 2012. After dipping in and out of the game in high impact but ultimately short-term feuds, Lesnar's shocking victory over The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 meant he had to be thrust to the forefront of the company. That battle, which saw The Undertaker's famous 21-0 streak at WrestleMania end, had to be paid off with a long term plan - not only for the legitimacy of the former UFC Champion, but for the legacy of the Deadman - who may not be seen in a WWE ring again. Looking towards the future, whoever takes the title from Lesnar will also benefit, likely elevated to solidified star status. WWE played their cards right by bringing Brock Lesnar back before SummerSlam and affording him the most convincing win we've ever seen over 'Super' John Cena. After one hell of a beating, sixteen German suplexes and a couple of F5's, the deed was done and Lesnar was back on top of the business for the first time since 2004. Cena was kept from Raw the next night to sell the validity of his beat down while Lesnar and Heyman paraded the new look WWE Championship belt. We don't know how long Lesnar is going to hold on to the title - wrestling is ultimately a guessing game. However, with no worthwhile challengers at the moment and Lesnar in a healthy position, he should be holding on to the strap for a very long time. Forget his part-time schedule - that will work to WWE's advantage if the plans are seen through correctly. If we're lucky, we may even see Lesnar remain champion through until WrestleMania 31, but how should he get there?
