There's no point denying it, the first few months of Samoa Joe's long-anticipated WWE career has been nothing short of lackluster. While yes, WWE has been initially underwhelming for the likes of Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero and numerous others who went on to significant stardom in WWE, Joe's a performer who in having the "once in a generation" tag attached to his name is falling well short of that renown. However, all is not lost. For as much as Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero were both saddled with Chyna for a spell, Joe wrestling Baron Corbin at NXT's major Brooklyn event may only be a bump in the road in what could be a prosperous WWE career-to-come.
