The self pontificating smark suddenly gets exposed as just your everyday mark - fans who are hypnotised under WWE's illusions. WWE have actually started working these "smarks" to their advantage. Increasingly, even "reality" has became a "work" in 2014. You only really know what WWE want you to know, and insiders only really know versions of truth that are leaked to them. Just because an industry site or WWE said so, does that really make you smart? There's several things that fans are marks for in 2014. Cons that you buy into as real, when the truth is actually quite different. The days of WWE pulling the wool over your eyes aren't over... they're still working you even though you don't know it!
