10 Worst Case Scenarios For WWE WrestleMania 34

The Nightmare Card.

We're a little more than 200 days removed from WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, and though we might not really know it yet, WWE writers have probably already began to prepare for their annual show-piece.

After all, they usually plant the seeds long in advance of the actual kick-off. This time last year, for example, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho were already starting to get friendly, whilst Randy Orton's head had just been caved open by Brock Lesnar, setting up his autumn feud with Bray Wyatt.

This past week, Roman Reigns and John Cena got acquainted over on Monday Night Raw ahead of their No Mercy clash- which probably means we won't see them square off on The Grandest Stage of Them All (unless they decide to carry on their feud in the meantime via the medium of Twitter instead).

You can make a good guess at what the WrestleMania 34 main event will be, then (mainly because we were told about six months ago) and it doesn't sound very promising if you're a fan of fresh match-ups which aren't totally rejected by the crowd.

Could we be set for a nightmare card?

10. Neville Still In The Cruiserweight Ranks

There was cause to believe, earlier this month, that Neville was about to shake off the chains of the cruiserweight division and begin his long over-due push towards the WWE main event.

But after dropping his title to Akira Tozawa on Monday Night Raw, he duly won it back less than a week later at SummerSlam (almost like it made no real sense to have him lose it in the first place).

Now, we're left wondering when - if ever - the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' will be given the chance to punch his own weight. And if he's still not getting those sorts of opportunities come WrestleMania time, it's probably a good sign that the company simply don't have as much faith in him as the fans do.
