10 Worst WWE Moments Of 2014

The moments we'll remember for awful reasons.

It would be nice to look back upon a calender year of professional wrestling and struggle to populate a list of the regrets. The moments that we'd choose to forget. It would be nice to look back and say that this one year was that rare year where events that either horrified us, repulsed us, or left us shaking our heads, were few and far between. Alas, as fans of WWE, we've come to accept that such a state of affairs is hardly ever likely, if at all possible. The dread of us having to respond to that inevitable question from a friend we wish had never come: why are you a fan of fake wrestling? The shame of dreadful comedy or atrocious gimmicks. The awful botches or badly acted backstage angles. Those moments of Monday Night Raw we wish could be undone. How can we justify our fandom to a neutral in the face or so much crap? Then, there's the other type of moment we live to regret: one of genuine adversity. A real life drama. A booking decision that turned out to be a tragic mistake. Even mortal tragedy itself. WWE calender years are always littered with a blend of these moments. 2014 was no exception to this rule. In this article, you will find an examination into the 10 worst moments of WWE's 2014. These are the ones that inspired dread, misery and even pain. These are the ones that we'll remember for awful reasons- whether in Kayfabe or indeed not.
