10 Wrestlers Who Are Entertaining Us Most Right Now

Putting the E in WWE.

With non-stop, round-the-clock content, wrestlers these days are under increasing pressure to be entertaining - not just in terms of their matches but promos, interviews and even the way they emerge from behind the curtain and approach the ring.

If you're not making someone's day, there's a good chance an up-and-comer behind you, waiting patiently in the wings for you to turn stale, is ready to jump in there and steal your spot from underneath your nose.

Keeping ever-demanding fans entertained isn't always straight-forward, though, and wrestlers that stumble on something that works deserve credit, just as they get the, ahem, odd bit of criticism when things go horribly wrong.

Whilst it is true that most of the time a wrestler, like an actor, is only as good as their material, there are a handful of them who are able to turn whatever hand they are dealt into a winning one.

And right now, as the world's major wrestling promotions head towards the final quarter of the year, there are a liberal smattering of stars who are pulling out all the stops to make their segments worth watching.

10. Bobby Roode

Bobby Roode is the WWE Universe's latest shiny new toy, having stepped into the shoes once filled by the likes of Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and most recently Shinsuke Nakamura as the most recent NXT graduate to make the leap to the main roster.

Roode's time on SmackDown has been relatively uneventful so far, but there is so much intrigue that surrounds the 40-year-old in the wake of reports that he is highly valued by WWE officials, who have earmarked him for a speedy ascent to the top of the card.

Whatever happens, Roode's consistently great matches and brilliant character work is sure to keep us entertained for at least as long is it takes for Drew McIntyre or Adam Cole become the next NXT rookie to get the nod.
