10 Wrestlers Who Butted Heads With WWE Creative (And Won)

9. Scott Hall

Because he's a bit of an oddball, and because of his association with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash, Scott Hall has picked up a reputation as one of those wrestlers who was completely out for himself, 100% of the time. Given that, this story may shock you.

Back in his WCW days, the artist formerly known as Razor Ramon actually defied Eric Bischoff's instructions in order to put over a young guy. Yeah, that's right: he lost a match he was told to win - for entirely selfless reasons.

This act of disobedience came during a match with Chris Jericho in the late-nineties. Instead of going along with the finish suggested by creative, Hall told the young Y2J to roll him up for a three count, assuring him that he would take the heat when they returned to the back.

That's pretty neat. It's just a shame that his determination to put the young guys over never rubbed off on his nWo leader, else we might have been looking at a very different end to the Monday Night Wars.
