10 Wrestlers Who Could Defeat John Cena In 2015

Cesaro. Kofi Kingston. And more...

As the United States Champion, John Cena's in a unique position. He's working in the mid-card as a "keeper of the brass ring" of sorts, the 15-time World Champion setting his standard of excellence now in the mid-card and forcing WWE super-duper stars to-be to reach his level. Insofar as performers deserving to reach the next level, there are those who have already faced Cena and proven themselves ready, and possibly after Cena drops the US Championship, yet more who are showing themselves as deserving of a victory. There's an obvious opportunity for Kevin Owens to win the United States Championship at Summerslam. As well, performers like Cesaro and Dean Ambrose have also shown themselves as more than ready in their Open Challenge matches, too. However, what about other WWE performers -- both in NXT and otherwise -- who are definitely angling for the "brass ring," and likely deserve a chance to be victorious against Cena in order to show that they're deserving of next-level excellence. What John Cena is doing on the mid-card is actually quite impressive. Those believing that Cena's only making one star are probably wrong. While Kevin Owens is obvious, there are probably two or three other names on this list who stand a chance of defeating the legend in 2015 and set themselves up to be stars of the future. Here are 10 wrestlers who could defeat John Cena in 2015.
