WWE Superstars must exercise extreme caution when opening their mouths, for certain words, particularly those associated with old-timey wrasslin', represent to Vince McMahon the pale, flabby, short, sneezing reaches of the lexicon.

Braun Strowman annoyed Vince by using two words so entrenched within it that it must require inhuman discipline to avoid them, and the sharpest mind to remember whichever euphemism Vince has settled on as an alternative - an alternative he has probably soured on seconds after the unfortunate performer emerged from behind the curtain.

"I want to enter that tournament because I deserve a title shot," is standard wrestling fare.

Don't say shot, or tournament.

"I want to enter that eliminator because I deserve a championship opportunity."

Better, but d*mn it, that's still not right!

"I want to enter that eliminator because I have built the momentum ahead of a championship opportunity."

Godd*mn pal, that's great!

Yes, early in his WWE career, as recounted by Mick Foley, McMahon blew a gasket backstage when Strowman demanded a "title shot". According to Vince, Strowman should have demanded a "title match". Foley was sympathetic; he'd have said "title shot" too. Turns out they were both wrong; soon afterwards, Vince did sour on the alternative, and created the new alternative "championship opportunity".

At this rate, and this isn't a joke at this point, Vince will change his mind to "accolade chance".
