10 Wrestlers Who Fell Off The Face Of The Earth

Vanishing like thieves in the night, where did these guys go?

In the modern era, the business of pro wrestling moves extremely fast. WWE produces a ton of weekly content, spanning across a wide variety of platforms, including standard television, YouTube and the WWE Network - so fast-paced is the world of WWE, that there's a finite shelf life for each act, meaning the roster - specifically the mid-card - has a high turnover of performers. Names such as John Cena, Triple H and Randy Orton may have been around for the better part of 15 years (even longer in the case of HHH), but a lot of wrestlers don't have that luxury, coming and going from the spotlight before many have even had time to digest their character. Sometimes, wrestlers vanish so suddenly that fans are left scratching their heads, wondering just where they disappeared to? Often, there are reasons behind such sabbaticals, but it can nonetheless be quite jarring when someone is featured heavily on TV one week, then not there the next. From firings, injuries and drug problems to falling out of love with the WWE schedule and failing to live up the initial billing, this list covers a lot of ground. These stars all disappeared off the edge of the planet, retreating from screens, but why?
