10 Wrestlers Who Fell Out Of Love With Wrestling

It was fun while it lasted.

According to Triple H during the very first season of 'Tough Enough' in 2001, being part of the pro wrestling business requires nothing but the best from those striving to make a splash. Utter dedication is the name of the game, in an industry where only those willing to put up with the various hardships thrust upon them by the very business they adore can survive. It was quite the impassioned speech, one which seemed designed to terrify the poor young men and women standing in the middle of the ring into respect for wrestling. Raising a family and being involved in the industry means being away from loved ones the majority of the time, and loneliness kicks in, at least according to 'The Game'. It cannot be denied that wrestling is far from the easiest job on the planet, mentally or physically. It's also fair to say that some of the absolute best pieces of talent the job has ever produced do struggle from time to time with exactly why they're putting their bodies and minds under so much duress. This list focuses on 10 different examples of people who - for a multitude of reasons - seemed to fall out of love with professional wrestling. For some, it was a personal choice, but others felt forced out of an industry they had given so much to.
