10 Wrestlers Who Should (Or Could) Leave WWE In 2018

9. The Ascension

Pigeonholed as punchlines within weeks of graduating from NXT, The Ascension's flagging credibility had more dirt heaped upon it by a cast of oldies during a 2015 Raw Reunion. Konnor & Viktor were humiliated and humbled by the New World Order, the New Age Outlaws, and the old-as-f*ck APA.

Dominant in developmental, the pair were rapidly marginalised by their old-fashioned gimmick. Two of the first to suffer the fate that later also befell Adam Rose, Emma, Kalisto and The Vaudevillians, the pair's Full Sail support was sunk thanks to the the abject misunderstanding of the main roster's creative forces.

With Raw now also home to both The Authors Of Pain and The Deleters Of Worlds, there's a low glass ceiling The Ascension already have no chance of smashing.
