From an inexperienced hoss to a hugely experienced junior heavyweight - is the time fast approaching for Rocky Romero to finally sign with WWE? 'Azucar' has enjoyed huge amounts of success in NJPW, winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship once along with eight IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. No man has held the latter more times than Rocky.

What is there left for Rocky to do in New Japan? Very little of course. Romero has long been rumoured to be on his way to NXT, but a spot as a trainer at the WWE Performance Center could well end up being in his future.

Romero has just unveiled Sho and Yo as Roppongi 3K, and most assume that this will see the Cuban take a bit of a back step when it comes to in-ring activity. His expertise between the ropes could be immensely valuable to WWE. The 20 year old veteran is perfect for training the next generation of junior heavyweight superstars.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
