To a certain generation of wrestling fans growing up in the 1980s, Ted DiBiase's "Million Dollar Man" gimmick represents the prototypical wrestling heel. Rich, pompous and generally a horribly shallow human being, the character flaunted his wealth. He even had his own championship belt: the Million Dollar Title.
Apparently, it took WWE a long time to come up with something that looked, well, a million dollars.
Bruce Prichard revealed some fresh details on DiBiase's title via his Something Else To Wrestle With show on the WWE Network this week. Those facts are joined here by others on names as varied as Paige, Samoa Joe, Charlotte Flair and Sean Waltman.
Finding out how pieces of DiBiase's promo attire came from Vince McMahon's wardrobe is fascinating, as is hearing from Prichard how badly the first Million Dollar Title was botched by those making it. As if that wasn't enough, learn just how stark a contrast there is between Brock Lesnar's Universal Title reign and the WWE Title one enjoyed by CM Punk between 2011-13.
If ever a stat sheet showed how limited Brock's schedule is, this is it...
