Most pro wrestling fans have seen the videos showing a young John Cena proudly sporting his own home-made wrestling belts.

A huge fan of the industry growing up, Cena has become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. That's probably something the man could never have dreamed of when watching the likes of Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant as a kid.

That wide-eyed child watched in awe as a 9-year old when the then-WWF presented WrestleMania III back in 1987. In the main event, Hogan did the 'impossible' and slammed Andre, in a moment that has since been replayed endless times. It's also one event that sticks out in Cena's mind, still holding pride of place as his favourite WrestleMania moment to date.

Complex Sports recently conducted an interview with Cena, during which he revealed that 'Mania III is still his favourite one in the long-running pay-per-view series.

The show also featured a spectacular showdown between Ricky Steamboat and Randy Savage for the WWF Intercontinental Title, but Cena's head was turned by the babyface antics of Hulk Hogan in the featured match.
